EVERETT — Luis Joseph’s RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth inning broke up a tied game and the Everett AquaSox opened their final series of the season with a 5-3 win over the Vancouver Canadians on Saturday at Funko Field at Everett Memorial Stadium.
Brayan Perez allowed only one run on six hits, struck out two and walked none in six strong inning for Everett.
Cade Marlowe hit his third home run of the season, Connor Hoover had two hits, including a triple, and an RBI, and Marysville Pilchuck graduate Trent Tingelstad added two hits for the AquaSox.
