EVERETT — Harry Ford homered and drove in three runs, Hogan Windish and Gabriel Gonzalez had three hits and the Everett AquaSox exploded four nine runs in the fourth inning of an 11-4 victory over the Hillsboro Hops on Tuesday at Funko Field.
Ford had a two-run double and Walking Cabrera, Ben Ramirez, Victor Labrada, Cole Young, Gonzalez and Windish each had an RBI in fourth. The AquaSox (58-51 overall, 24-19 second half) had seven hits, including five doubles in the inning.
Ford hit a solo home run in the first and Ramirez added an RBI single in the sixth. Ford has 10 extra-base hits, 10 RBI and 10 walks over 12 games in August.
Kelvin Nunez (9-2) pitched three scoreless innings of relief to earn the win.
Kevin Graham, Christian Cerda and Junior Franco drove in runs for the Hops.
Hillsboro starter Jose Cabrera (0-3) allowed eight runs on eight hits and two walks over 3.1 innings.
