VANCOUVER, B.C. — The Everett AquaSox’s offense was held to just three hits in a 13-1 loss to the Vancouver Canadians on Thursday night at Nat Bailey Stadium.
Everett’s lone run in the game didn’t come until the ninth inning when James Parker scored on a double by Randy Bednar.
Ben Ramirez and Charlie Welch had the other two hits for the AquaSox, who fell behind by 9 runs after just two innings.
Raul Alcantara started on the mound for Everett (14-15) and struggled mightily. He allowed nine runs in seven hits in just 1.2 innings before being lifted for John Creel. Creel allowed two runs on two hits in 3.1 innings of relief.
Riley Tirotta went 3-for-4 with a triple, double and seven RBI, and Cade Doughty finished 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI for Vancouver (16-10).
