EVERETT — Everett AquaSox second baseman Brock Rodden was named the Northwest League Player of the Month for May.
Rodden, a 24-year-old from Durant, Oklahoma, batted .375 with a .468 on-base percentage and .567 slugging percentage in May. He led the league in average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, hits (39), runs (21), total bases (59), and triples (three). He was second in the league in doubles (eight) and stolen bases (11).
For the season Rodden, who was a fifth-round pick by the Seattle Mariners in the 2023 draft, is batting .313 with eight home runs, 47 RBI, 16 stolen bases and a .906 OPS.
