Area stars shine on all-state football teams

12 area players across three classes were selected for the WSFCA’s all-state teams.

The Washington State Football Coaches Association (WSFCA) has released its all-state football teams for the 2025 season, headlined by five Lake Stevens players, including The Herald’s Offensive Player of the Year in QB Blake Moser, on the 4A team. 2A state champion Archbishop Murphy netted four selections, led by The Herald’s Defensive Player of the Year in DE/TE Jack Sievers, who won Overall Player of the Year honors in the class. Between the 4A, 3A and 2A teams announced, area players accounted for 12 spots across four schools.
