Arlington’s Hedlund 8th in 4A state meet

SPOKANE – Arlington’s Alex Hedlund tied for eighth in the 4A boys golf state tournament Thursday at Indian Canyon Golf Course.

Everett’s Jacob Koppenberg and Meadowdale’s Jon Keane tied for 11th.

Nick Grigsby of Central Valley followed his first-round 66 with an even-par 72 to win the individual title at 6-under-par 138, one shot ahead of Kentridge’s Chris Cho.

Bellarmine Prep, with three players in the top 38, won the team championship.
