Geoffrey Lee

Kamiak | Baseball

The Knights shortstop led Kamiak to a pair of wins with his bat and glove last week. In wins over Shorecrest and Glacier Peak, Lee had a home run, a double, two singles, two RBI and three stolen bases. Defensively, he had 14 assists, three putouts and aided on three double plays, all without an error.

Jessica Gott

Lynnwood | Softball

The Royals pitcher went 2-0 and had 18 strikeouts in the circle last week, including a no-hitter against Shorewood. She also went 4-for-7 at the plate with 2 doubles and four RBI.

Archbishop Murphy | Boys soccer

The Wildcats goalkeeper recorded two shutouts last week. The senior had five saves in a 2-0 win over Lakewood and six saves, including a penalty kick, in a 1-0 win over King’s as the Wildcats asserted themselves as the favorite once again in the Cascade Conference.

Granite Falls | Girls tennis

The Tigers No. 1 singles player came from behind in both sets to defeat Lakewood’s Christina Barber 7-6 (10-2), 7-6 (10-5) and lead Granite Falls to a 4-3 win over the Cougars.

Josiah Steele

Monroe | Track

The Bearcats senior triple jumper broke the boys meet record with a jump of 43 feet, 8 inches at the Mountlake Terrace Relays on Saturday.

Other nominations: Miler Haller, Edmonds-Woodway; Jackson 1,600 relay team (Nick White, Cordell Johnson, John Robert Woolley, Wesley Love).

Rui Nakagawa

Lynnwood | Golf

Nakagawa shot a 34 through nine holes at the Nile Golf Course to win the Edmonds School District Championship.

Other nominations: Ben Gardner, Snohomish.
