The Bellingham chapter of the Puget Sound Anglers is holding its salmon derby on July 13-15, with a top prize of $5,000 and a ticket price of $50. The derby takes place in Marine Area 7, the San Juan Islands.
It took a 34.85-pound fish to win this one last year, so be prepared.
