We just had our last press briefing with Tyrone Willingham before his last game with the Huskies. The biggest news of the day is that tailback Brandon Johnson, who had a big game against Cal last season, has not been practicing this week for disciplinary reasons, and won’t make the trip to Berkeley. That leaves Willie Griffin and Terrance Dailey as the likely tailbacks for the game, with Griffin probably getting the start.
Willigham said that cornerback Mesphin Forrester (ankle) is questionable, while Mason Foster, who has been practicing with a cast to protect an injured thumb, and Ben Ossai, who missed the Apple Cup with a concussion, should both be OK to play this week.
And now we turn our attention back to the crazy coaching search.
