Bruton out tonight

The final judgment on Spokane captain Chris Bruton has been made by the league. He was given a two-game suspension, meaning he won’t be playing when the Tips and Chiefs play tonight. It also means neither of the two main characters from Wednesday’s punchout in Spokane, Bruton and Kyle Beach, will be on the ice tonight.

The league also doled out a $500 fine to Spokane coach Bill Peters for his comments about Beach following the incident.
