n The second annual Lake Stevens Christmas Festival Basketball Tournament is scheduled for Dec. 28-30 at Lake Stevens High School. The tournament is for boys and girls teams in grades 4-9. The team fee is $225. For more information, call 425-744-1860.

n The Jackson Timberwolves December Boys Basketball Clinic is scheduled from 9-11:30 a.m. on Dec. 27-28 at Jackson High School. The program is for boys in grades 2-6. The cost is $50 for Mill Creek residents and $60 for non-residents. For more information, call 425-745-1891.

n The Cascade High School Boys Basketball Team’s 2007 Holiday Skills Camp is scheduled for Dec. 27-28 at Cascade High School. Sessions are from 10 a.m. to noon (grades 3-5) and 12:30-2:30 p.m. (grades 6-8). The cost is $25. Participants can register at the door.

n The Snohomish County Thunder minor-league football team is looking for players, coaches, sponsors, trainers, statisticians and camera operators. Players must be at least 18 years of age.
