Golf

n The Snohomish County Men’s Two-Man Best Ball Tournament is scheduled for Sept. 5-6 at Battle Creek and Cedarcrest golf courses, both in Marysville. The team fee is $250. The entry deadline is Aug. 30. Entry forms are available at most county courses. The event is open to anyone with a USGA handicap.

n The 11th annual Freeland Open Golf Classic is scheduled for Aug. 30 at Useless Bay Golf &Country Club. The cost is $105 per golfer and includes dinner. To register, call 360-331-1980.

Football

n The Snohomish County Boys &Girls Club is offering a Coed NFL Youth Flag Football Camp on Aug. 17-20. Sessions are available for players ages 5-8 (9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) and for players ages 9-12 (1:30-4:30 p.m.). The registration fee is $100.

n The Everett Boys &Girls Club is accepting registration for its Flag Football program. The program is for players ages 5-12. For more information, call Dave at 425-259-5147.

Physicals

n The Marysville School District is offering Sports Physicals from 4-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 18 in the Marysville-Pilchuck High School gymnasium. The physicals are for student-athletes entering grades 7-12. The cost is $35. Appointments can be made by calling 360-653-7058.

Running

n The first annual Brett Jensen Memorial Fun/Run Walk is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Aug. 22. The 3.4-mile run/walk starts at Legion Memorial Park in Everett. The registration fee is $30.
