EUGENE, Ore. — Nick Rodriguez hit a solo home run in the fifth inning to give the Everett AquaSox a 1-0 win over the Eugene Emeralds on Tuesday.

David Ellingson got Tyler Durna to hit into a double play with a runner on first to end the game for his first save of the season.

Everett starter Jheyson Caraballo (3-0) picked up the win after scattering seven hits over six scoreless innings. Opposing starter Ryan Williams (1-3) took the tough loss in the Northwest League game after allowing one run and five hits over six innings.
