Jeff Clement introduced himself to the Pittsburgh Pirates organization in the biggest way tonight.
Clement hit solo home runs in each of his first two at-bats, and also added a single, in his first game for the Class AAA Indianapolis Indians against the Norfolk Tides at Norfolk, Va. He played first base.
The Mariners traded Clement, along with shortstop Ronny Cedeno and three Class A pitchers, to the Pirates on Wednesday in exchange for shortstop Jack Wilson and pitcher Ian Snell.
Cedeno went 1-for-4 in his Pirates debut against the Nationals.
