Registration open for baseball, hockey and track and field camps

BASEBALL

— Everett-based Lace’s Baseball Academy is holding tryouts for its 13-U and 15-U teams at 6 p.m. on July 31 at Cascade High School, and at 6 p.m. on Aug. 8 at Marysville Pilchuck High School. For more information, send an e-mail to lacesbaseball@hotmail.com.

FOOTBALL

—The Snohomish County Football Officials Association is looking for people interested in officiating high school and middle school games in Snohomish, King and Island counties. For more information, visit www.scfoa.org.

GOLF

—Registration is open for the 13th Coach Armstrong Memorial Golf Tournament, which is scheduled for Aug. 10 at Snohomish Golf Course. The format is a four-person scramble. The cost is $110 if registered before Aug. 1 and $125 afterward. Proceeds go toward scholarships for Snohomish and Glacier Peak students. HOCKEY

—Pro Edge Power Skating is offering a Defenseman Hockey Camp on Aug. 3-5 at Olympic View Arena in Mountlake Terrace. The camp is for players born in 2002 through 2008. The cost is $259. For more information or to register, visit www.proedgeskating.com.

TENNIS

—The Snohomish Summer Smash Tennis Tournament is scheduled for July 20-22 at Snohomish High School. The event is for players ages 14-18. The registration fees are $30 for singles and $50 for doubles and mixed doubles teams. TRACK AND FIELD

— An Ultimate Sports Track and Field Camp is scheduled for July 9-12 at Lakewood High School. Sessions are from 9 a.m. to noon. The camp is for athletes ages 7 to 14. The cost is $95. For more information, call the Marysville Parks, Culture and Recreation Office at 360-363-8400.
