  • Tryouts for Coast to Coast Baseball are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Sept. 26 at Everett Memorial Stadium. The tryouts will be followed by a hitting camp at 2 p.m. The events are for players ages 10-18. For more information, call 740-373-4455.

  • Tryouts for the Club Shock Girls Select Basketball Program are scheduled for Sept. 22-24 at Haller Middle School in Arlington (grades 5-7). For more information, call Kevin at 360-435-4442.
  • Registration for the Marysville Youth Basketball League runs through Oct. 3. The program is for players in grades 1-8. Volunteer coaches are needed. The cost is $66 per player, with a $6 discount for each additional family member. For more information, call 360-363-8400.
  • The City of Edmonds is offering a 4-on-4 Half-Court Basketball League on Friday nights. Play begins Sept. 18. The team fee is $295. For more information, call Todd at 425-771-0229.
  • Tryouts for the North Sound Elite AAU Basketball Teams are scheduled for Sept. 19 and 20 at the Everett Boys &Girls Club. Sessions are from noon-1 p.m. (fifth-grade boys and girls), 1-2 p.m. (sixth-grade boys and girls), 2-3 p.m. (seventh-grade boys and girls), 3-4 p.m. (eighth-grade boys and girls), 5-6 p.m. (high school girls).   • The 27th annual Sertoma Club Golf Tournament is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Sept. 20 at Legion Memorial Golf Course. Proceeds benefit the John Flynn Cancer Center.   • The third annual Cascade High School Boys Golf Tournament is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Sept. 26 at Walter E. Hall Golf Course in Everett.
