The Edmonds Community College softball team is seeking a title.
The Northwest Athletic Conference’s 2019 Softball Championship begins Friday in Spokane, and the Edmonds Tritons are one of the favorites. Edmonds claimed the No. 3 seed to the 16-team tournament, and the Tritons are looking to earn their second straight trophy after taking third place last year. Edmonds opens the double-elimination tournament at 10 a.m. Friday against No. 14 Columbia Basin. The tournament continues through Monday.
