Edmonds-Woodway wins another double-overtime game

EVERETT – Edmonds-Woodway won its second double-overtime game this week when Rebekah Wells scored two minutes into the second overtime to give the Warriors a 2-1 victory over Jackson Thursday in a Western Conference South Division contest at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Jackson coach Mike Bartley said E-W rotated the ball to the far post and Wells knocked the game-winner into the upper right corner from 18 yards out.

“It was a pretty shot,” Bartley said.

The outcome left E-W as the only unbeaten team in the division.
