Iwanski-McGrath-McCrea

Defensive pairings:

Murray-Gudas

Rissanen-de la Lande

Theriau-Kulchar

Starting goalie:

Scratches: Minville, Elynuik, Sohor.

Notes: Apparently Thomas Heemskerk’s shutout Wednesday wasn’t enough to earn him a second straight start as Kent Simpson gets the nod in goal tonight, the seventh straight game in which the Tips have alternated goalies. Left wing Dan Iwanski makes his first appearance in the new year as he returns from his knee injury. Left wing Campbell Elynuik sits with what was described as minor bumps and bruises.

SPOKANE

Forward lines:

Beach-Wahl-Gal

Uher-Johnson-Brassart

Miller-Kuhn-Letts

Koper-Bardaro-Holmberg

Defensive pairings:

Cowen-Spurgeon

Bartman-Ulmer

Baldwin-Kichton

Starting goalie:

Tadjdeh

Scratches: Mort,Cratsenberg, Marantz.

Notes: Spokane turns to Michael Tadjdeh in goal after No. 1 James Reid was pulled in each of his previous two visits to Comcast Arena. The Chiefs are essentially at full strength with its skaters, though it appears Spokane has shuffled its lines a bit since the Chiefs played here last Saturday.
