FINISH LINE: Maybe Tiger was his role model?

But was he wearing the costume at the time?

Tiger Woods isn’t the only celebrity suffering the consequences of his “trangressions.” Pat Patriot has joined him.

Robert Sormanti, who works as a mascot for the NFL’s New England Patriots, is among 14 people who have been arrested in a Rhode Island sex sting.

State Police say Sormanti of Warwick, R.I., was among those busted for prostitution-related crimes in an undercover sting at a hotel. The Providence Journal reports Sormanti is among several people who dress up as Pat Patriot, New England’s mascot, at games and other events.

Sormanti and the others nabbed in the sting were arrested under a new Rhode Island law that bans indoor prostitution. The law, which went into effect in November, made prostitution a misdemeanor crime regardless of where it occurs. Previously, indoor prostitution was allowed because of a legal loophole.

The Patriots said in a statement that multiple people wear the team’s mascot costume and that the “individual in question” has been suspended.
