The Atlanta Dream continued to inch closer to the top of the Eastern Conference on Friday with a 94-88 victory over the Connecticut Sun in overtime.

Angel McCoughtry led the Dream (13-12) with 26 points. Ashja Jones led the Sun (16-10) with 21 points.

The Dream now have a firm hold on the fourth and final playoff spot in the East and trail the Liberty by two games for third.
