The Indiana Fever maintained their recent stellar play with an 85-65 victory over the Tulsa Shock on Friday night. The Fever remain on top in the Eastern Conference.
Jessica Davenport scored 17 points off the bench to lead the Fever (15-6). Tiffany Jackson and Jennifer Lacy each scored 12 points to lead the Shock (1-18).
The Seattle Storm helped the Fever out by defeating the Eastern Conference’s No.2 team 81-79 on Sue Bird’s game-winning three-pointer with 0.4 seconds left in Friday’s other game.
