RENTON — Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren said after Friday’s practice that quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and wide receiver Deion Branch will likely sit out another game this weekend.
Hasselbeck has missed two consecutive games because of a bulging disk that has affected his leg strength. Branch is nursing a bruised heel.
Seneca Wallace is likely to start in place of Hasselbeck. Bobby Engram is the most likely candidate to start in place of Branch.
Guard Floyd Womack returned to practice and should start Sunday, when the Seahawks play the San Francisco 49ers.
