Hawes to Start?

With tip off of an incredibly important game about 35 minutes away, indications are that Spencer Hawes will be back in the starting lineup against Stanford, probably in place of Artem Wallace. That would indicate that Hawes is healthy again, and the Huskies are going to need all they can get from him against Stanford’s big front line. Regardless of who starts, Washington is going to need contributions from Hawes, Jon Brockman, Artem Wallace and Hans Gasser to be able to compete with the Lopez twins and Lawrence Hill. Wallace has been playing well lately. If nothing else, you have to account for him on the boards and he’s going to be physical.
