Middle linebacker David Hawthorne practiced for the first time this week, and Pete Carroll said Hawthorne will likely be able to play Monday night. Hawthorne, who has been battling an MCL injury all season, is officially listed as questionable, but Carroll sounded more confident that the linebacker will play.
“We think he’s going to be all right,” Carroll said. “He looked OK today. It was a good effort to rest him, get him strong for the week.”
Tarvaris Jackson practiced fully again Saturday marking the first time since suffering a pectoral injury two months ago that the quarterback has gone through a full week of practice.
“It seems like a real gift,” Carroll said. “We just have not had him at all… Hopefully this will help his performance.”
DE Raheem Brock (calf) is also listed as questionable, though Carroll said Brock will likely play as well.
