EUGENE, Ore. — Tamika Nurse made two free throws with six seconds remaining to give Oregon a 66-64 victory against Washington on Saturday. Nurse, a former starting point guard on the bench since December, finished with a season-highs of 17 points and six assists, and a career-best eight rebounds.

But it was Taylor Lilley who paced the Ducks with 20 points as they ended a three-game losing streak to the Huskies. Michelle Augustavo scored 18 points to lead the Huskies, while Andrea Plouffe added 14 points and Katelan Redmon scored 10.

Oregon jumped out to an 8-0 lead 3:30 into the game as Lilley and Micaela Cocks hit 3-pointers and Lilley added a layup. Washington responded with a 20-3 run to go up by nine with 8:26 to play in the half.

The Ducks were 1-8 in field goals during the Huskies’ run and had nine turnovers. Oregon got to within a point, 29-28, by halftime and took the lead coming out of the break on a 3-pointer by Lilley to make it 31-29.

Down 50-45 with 9:37 to play, Cocks sparked an Oregon rally with back-to-back 3-pointers from her and Lilley to ignite a 14-2 run that put the Ducks up 57-52.

The game was tied 64-64 following a three-point play by Washington’s Emily Florence with 2:01 remaining. Florence had a chance to give the Huskies the lead with 41 seconds to go, but missed the front end of a one-and-one free-throw opportunity and the rebound went to Oregon.
