YAKIMA — Corey Kispert scored 20 points and Noah Bundrant added 16 to lead King’s to a 65-37 win over La Salle in a Class 1A boys quarterfinal on Thursday.
King’s (23-2) plays Vashon Island at 9 p.m. Friday for a spot in Saturday’s championship game.
King’s trailed 13-12 at the end of the third quarter, but outscored the Lightning 24-10 in the second quarter to take control of the game.
The Knights, the No. 2-ranked 1A team in the state, then pulled away by outscoring fifth-ranked La Salle 29-14 in the second half.
Tresten Garza was the only La Salle player to score in double figures. He finished with 12 points.
