Hanford Reach kings
Another good week last week on the Hanford Reach, where 430 boats were contacted by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife personnel with 330 chinook, roughly 20 percent above last year’s catch at the same point in the season. Good run this year, but these fall chinook darken quickly, so get ‘em soon.
Yakima kings
The Yakima River fall chinook fishery continues to build, with the peak yet to come. Checks last week tallied 65 anglers with 7 adult kings and 1 jack.
