Everett High School softball player Lexie Levin signed a National Letter of Intent on Tuesday to play softball for Western Washington University next season. The Vikings are a part of the Division II Great Northwest Athletic Conference and are led by second year head coach Amy Suiter.
Levin, a three-year starter for the Seagulls, plays first base, outfield, and pitcher. Last season, Levin was a first team All-Wesco and a second team All-Area selection. She currently holds single season school records in several offensive categories: Batting Average (.535), On Base Percentage (.670), Doubles (12), Triples (5), and Runs Batted In (48).
In 2010 and 2011 the Levin, who also plays for the Lake Breeze Gold team, helped lead Everett to the state tournament, where it finished third in 2010 and seventh in 2011.
