The excitement of high school sports is full-throttle throughout the fall, winter and spring.
But now, with the spring sports state championships in the rearview mirror, we have to play the waiting game for a few months until the fall 2011 season fires up. For that reason, the summer can be a frustrating time for prep sports fanatics.
