SEATTLE _ The University of Washington football team welcomed back its leader Thursday, when quarterback Jake Locker had his first full practice participation of the week.
Locker had been resting general soreness after taking several big hits in last weekend’s overtime win over Oregon State.
“I thought he had a nice practice,” head coach Steve Sarkisian said afterward. “I thought he looked good. Threw the ball well, ran well, really locked into what we were trying to get accomplished. So looks like he’s ready to go.”
The Huskies (3-3 overall, 2-1 in the Pac-10) will face Arizona on Saturday night.
