English Premier League giant Manchester United will meet reigning Liga MX champion Club America at CenturyLink Field this summer as part of the International Champions Cup North America.

First kick is scheduled for 8 p.m. July 17. Ticket information has not been announced.

“Seattle is home to the top domestic soccer in North America, and CenturyLink Field has a rich history of hosting high-profile international soccer events,” Seattle Sounders owner Adrian Hanauer said through a release. “We’re excited to continue that tradition this summer, and offer our fans the ability to watch two of the most storied clubs in international football.”

The Sounders will play host to the Colorado Rapids the next day.

The International Champions Cup North America features 10 teams competing in 17 matches played across the globe. A point system is kept and a champion crowned.

The event has been held annually since 2013. A 2014 match between Manchester United and Real Madrid at the University of Michigan drew the largest crowd in United States soccer history: 109,318.

Manchester United is the most successful club in English soccer and perhaps the best known club in the world. It was the first sports franchise to be valued by Forbes at over $3 billion. The current roster includes Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie, and they follow in the footsteps for former Man U stars such as Bobby Charlton, George Best, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Red Devils’ 2011 friendly with the Sounders drew 67,052, the second-largest soccer crowd ever in the Northwest, 333 short of the record set at a Sounders-Portland Timbers match in 2013.

Club America was founded in 1916 and based in Mexico City. It has 35 domestic and international titles, including five CONCACAF Championships.
