SHORELINE — Kyle Newsom carried 16 times for 155 yards and three touchdowns to lead Meadowdale to a 41-7 win over Shorecrest in a Wesco 3A game Friday at Shoreline Stadium.
Fellow Mavericks running back Giavani Shepard had 13 carries for 135 yards and a touchdown.
All together, Meadowdale out-rushed Shorecrest 378 yards to 9.
Meadowdale quarterback Brian Marty completed five of 10 passes for 102 yards. He had a 4-yard TD pass to Tyler Morehouse.
Shepard and Michail Cummings led the Mavericks’ defense with five tackles each.
