MEMPHIS, Tenn. — All-American junior guard Chris Douglas-Roberts of Memphis will enter the NBA draft, joining teammate Derrick Rose in leaving early for the pros.
The school announced Douglas-Roberts’ decision Friday.
Douglas-Roberts led Memphis in scoring at 18.1 points a game and shot a team-best 41.3 percent on 3-pointers. He was voted the Conference USA Player of the Year and helped lead the Tigers to the NCAA championship game, where they lost to Kansas in overtime.
Earlier this week, Rose declared for the NBA draft. The freshman guard was a third-team All-American.
