KALISPELL, Mont. — Officials with Montana Raceway Park in conjunction with Vitamin Water and Full Throttle Energy Drinks have announced that Saturday, September 19 will be Fan Appreciation &Back To School Night with free grandstands admission for all spectators interested in watching exciting racing action in five competitive divisions.

During intermission contests will be held amongst Flathead Valley high school sports teams and various concession, souvenir and sponsor prizes will be offered throughout the evening.

Scott Dalla leads Scott Lee by 39 points in the chase for the 2009 Thunder Roadster championship with Zach Havens 33 markers behind Lee’s second place position.

In the Bandolero division just 10 points separate leader Devin Clayton and second place Dalton Halden with Tristan Corpron holding down the third place position in the championship chase. Mike Hilliker has had the hot hand in the division’s last two events but missed some time in the early portion of the season and is fourth in the overall standings.

Jason Young leads Bill McCallum by 18 points in the championship chase heading into the Bomber division’s longest race of the season. Dave Berglund, Jimmy Worsham and Ray Young round out the top-5 driver standings with two races remaining in the Bomber season.

Also racing Saturday night will be the Hornets and Limited Sportsman divisions.

Katie Pilsch has been showing great consistency all season long in the Hornet division and with those efforts holds a 38-point advantage over Cory Rehm with two races remaining in the 2009 campaign. Kyle Basler, Tim Hatlen and Travis Cannon round out the top-5 points positions in the division.

Jason Robinson leads the points standings for the Limited Sportsman division but his brother Josh has been steady all season long and looks to close a 16-point gap between the pair with two races remaining in the season.
