From Kelly Hale at Evergreen Speedway:

On a cool breezy evening Naima Lang sent the message to the rest of the field that his 2 wins in one night was no fluke. Naima captured his 3rd straight victory in a row by riding easy through the first half of the season and then running away at the end. Steve Ptacek made a late charge to finish second and Jeff Knight who was very strong through the middle portion finished third.

In the Les Schwab Tire Street Stocks Travis Blackwood took advantage of starting in the second row and went to the lead very early and never looked back, that is untill Joe Kneeland popped up on his rear bumper. Kneeland gave Blackwood all he could handle but not more. Blackwood picked up his first win of 2009, Kneeland 2nd and Lane Sundholm 3rd

Foster Press Mini Stocks were in action with Scott Lacrosse looking to make it two in a row, but Clint Lang making his first start of the year wasn’t having it. Lang brought it to the checkers first with Lacrosse second and Kris Harris third.

Ricky Deitz was the winner in the Pawn Exchange Super Figure 8’s followed by “Cowboy” John Carlson and Troy Siminer finished third in his first start of the year.

Hornets were on the modified road course and that was won by Billie Williams and the Youth Hornet main was taken by Dan Gimmaka.
