Congrats to the following local cross country teams for winning invite titles over the weekend:

*Jackson boys (Sunfair Class 4A division in Yakima)

*Glacier Peak girls (Sunfair 3A division in Yakima)

*Cedarcrest girls (Sunfair 2A/1A/2B/1B division in Yakima)

*Lakewood girls (Mt. Baker in Deming)

Also, congrats to Cascade’s Dylan Hopper, who placed first at the Tomahawk Twilight Invitational in Marysville. Hopper was the subject of my Timeout story last week.

Once again, Jackson, Glacier Peak and Cedarcrest are all No. 1 in the state coaches’ poll. Here are the complete rankings.
