Pair of Glacier Peak girls make the cut

WOODLAND — Glacier Peak’s Megan Christie and Erika Stromerson both made the cut in the 3A girls golf state championship at Lewis River Golf Course on Wednesday.

Christie shot a 89 and Stromerson was just a few strokes back at 91.

Oak Harbor’s Annie Leete shot a first-round 82 to finish 10 strokes off the lead set by Mt. Spokane’s Sierra Bezdicek.
