Personius leads Lake Stevens past Stanwood

LAKE STEVENS – Alona Personius tripled, homered, scored twice and drove in three runs as she led Lake Stevens to an 8-1 victory over Stanwood in the Wesco North softball game.

Vallen Brewer drove in two runs for the Vikings and pitcher Athea Surface allowed two hits and struck out 11.

Howell batted 3-for-3 with a grand slam in the second game and Concrete hit three home runs in the game. Kassy Taylor and Lindsay Ehmke also homered for the Lions. Beka Thomas drove in four runs for Concrete. Jordan Corley batted 3-for-3 with a double for Darrington.
