Kispert, a junior, scored 29 points, 21 of which came in the first half, in Saturday’s 80-39 victory over Freeman in the 1A state championship game. The victory gave the Knights back-to-back state championships.
Kispert also had 29 points in a quarterfinal victory over Zillah and 28 points in a semifinal victory over King’s Way Christian.
Madeline Smith &Madison Pollock
Snohomish | Girls Basketball
Smith, a senior, scored 28 points in Saturday night’s 4A state championship game loss to Central Valley. At one point Smith had 25 of her team’s 30 points. Smith also scored 18 in a quarterfinal win over Lewis and Clark and 17 in a semifinal win over Bothell.
Pollock, also a senior, averaged 17 points per game in the Panthers’ three state tournament games.
