Chase Anselment of Meadowdale, Brian Wolfe and Bryant Robbins of Snohomish, Devin Peterson of Marysville-Pilchuck and James Robbins of Shorecrest were chosen to represent the Western Conference in the All-State Baseball Series Saturday and Sunday at Parker Field in Yakima.
Anselment is a catcher committed to the University of Washington. Wolfe, also committed to UW, plays outfield, first base and pitches. Bryant Robbins, a second baseman, is head to Everett Community College. Peterson, a first baseman, is uncommitted. James Robbins, a pitcher/first baseman, is a Washington State recruit.
Two players will represent state champion Cedarcrest. Pitcher/outfielder Travis Cook, who has signed with Washington State, and first baseman/pitcher Cameron Padron, who is uncommitted. Lakewood third baseman/shortstop Jordan Stauffer was also chosen out of the Northwest League/Cascade Conference feeder game June 3 at Joe Martin Stadium in Bellingham.
Stauffer has been assigned to Team Adams. Anselment, Wolfe, Bryant Robbins and Peterson have been assigned to Team St. Helens. Cook, Padron and James Robbins have been assigned to Team Rainier.
Team Adams plays Team Baker at noon Saturday. Team St. Helens plays Team Rainier at 3:15 p.m. The losers meet at 10:25 a.m. Sunday. The winners play at 1:35 p.m.
