Lake Stevens 5, Monroe 3

MONROE — The Vikings (11-5 overall) earned a second straight comeback win thanks to three seventh-inning runs. Aspen Alexander (3-for-4) led the charge with two runs and four RBI, including a fourth-inning two-run homer and a two-run triple in the seventh to put Lake Stevens ahead. Blake Moser (1-for-3, 2 runs) also doubled for the Vikings. AJ Welch (0-for-2) scored twice for the Bearcats (6-10).

Meadowdale 5, Everett 0

LYNNWOOD — Tristan Dodds allowed just four hits and struck out one hitter in a complete-game shutout for the Mavericks (5-12). Aaron Hurlbut (1-for-2) doubled and scored once on a day where four Mavericks rounded the bases. Luca Morales (1-for-2) doubled for Everett (6-12).

King’s 6, King’s Way Christian 5

VANCOUVER — John Bjella’s sacrifice fly broke a 5-5 tie in the seventh inning and sealed the win for the Knights (9-5). Bjella went 2-for-3 and brought in two runs while Nate Bjella (3-for-4, 2B) scored twice. Nate Echelbarger (2-for-4, RBI, run) doubled twice on a night where King’s racked up five extra base hits.

Wesco North 3A/2A

Snohomish 7, Marysville Pilchuck 1

MARYSVILLE — The Panthers (13-6 overall, 6-2 league) earned their eighth straight win as Rider Walsh allowed no hits or walks and had 12 Ks in five innings pitched. Walsh needed just 73 pitches to handle 17 hitters while landing two RBI on offense. Reiken Bursch (2-for-4, SB, 2 RBI) was the only other Snohomish hitter to hit for two RBI. Donovan Faulkner (1-for-3, RBI) doubled for the Tomahawks (0-16, 0-8).

Wesco South 3A/2A

Mountlake Terrace 4, Shorecrest 2

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Nate Brown’s double in the sixth inning put the Hawks (8-9, 5-4) up by three late to all but seal an important league win. Brown went 2-for-3 and hit two doubles while Cian Harney (2-for-3, 2B) was the only Hawk to score twice. Quinn Burnham (3-for-4, 2B) scored both of Shorecrest’s (11-6, 5-4) runs as Mountlake Terrace pulled even with his team in league standings.

Edmonds-Woodway 13, Lynnwood 0 (5)

LYNNWOOD — The Warriors (12-6, 7-2) earned a run-rule win thanks to balanced offense and a two-hit, eight-K performance from pitcher Lukas Wanke. Andreas Simonsen (1-for-4, 2B, RBI), Erik Alsdorf (2-for-3), Toshi Gilginas (1-for-2, RBI), Andrew Bau (1-for-2) and Jesus Andrade-Martinez (2-for-3, RBI) all had two runs for Edmonds-Woodway. Sergio Navarro (2-for-3) had the two hits for Lynnwood (3-15, 2-9).

Wesco 4A

Arlington 8, Cascade 2

EVERETT — The Eagles (8-9, 4-3) jumped out to a 7-0 lead after two innings to cruise to a win over the Bruins (3-13, 0-7). Billy Kooy helped set the tone with an inside-the-park home run in the second-inning as the senior went 2-for-4 and scored two runs with three RBI. Avery Klein (3-for-4, 2B, 3B) and Aiden Jones (2-for-4, RBI) also scored twice for Arlington. Marcell Alexander (1-for-2) scored once and stole a base for Cascade.

Northwest

Meridian 12, Lakewood 3

ARLINGTON — Seven errors highlighted a tough loss for the Cougars (5-12, 2-10). Aiden Jones (2-for-3, 2 runs) tripled in the loss.
