LA CONNER — The Loggers (5-10 overall, 3-7 league) stole 15 bases and drew 12 walks to power a blowout win. Cooper Green (2-for-5, 5 SB, 2 RBI, 2 runs) accounted for a third of those steals while Chevy Vincent (3-for-5, 2 SB, 2B, RBI, 2 runs) had Darrington’s only extra-base hit. Hunter Anderson (1-for-3, 3 SB, 2 RBI, 3 runs) and Mason Chittick (1-for-1, 2 SB, RBI, 3 runs) tied the game-high for runs scored.

Granite Falls 12, Mount Vernon Christian 5
GRANITE FALLS — A 14-for-30, seven-walk day for the Tigers (9-10) netted them a comfortable victory. Drake Smith (2-for-3, 2 3B, 5 RBI, run) had the game’s only two triples en route to a five-RBI showing. Three Tigers scored multiple runs as Carson Brooks (2-for-5, 2 runs), Kaden Strum (1-for-1, RBI, 2 runs) and Quinten Depue (1-for-2, 2 runs) each reached home plate twice.
Mercer Island 4, Glacier Peak 3
MERCER ISLAND — The Grizzlies (8-12) broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the seventh thanks to Mercer Island’s only error of the game. The Islanders had plenty left in the gas tank by the bottom of the seventh, however, scoring three runs including a walk-off sacrifice fly. Landon Whitaker (2-for-3, 2 SB, 2B, 2 runs) scored a team-high in runs as Glacier Peak went 5-for-25 and drew eight walks.
