1B District 1 Tournament

Tulalip Heritage 73, Providence Classical Christian 28

MARYSVILLE — The Hawks (18-1 overall) breezed into the district championship game and earned a spot in the Tri-district tournament with five players scoring in doubles figures. Davien Parks led the way with 21 points, and JJ Grey keyed Tulalip Heritage’s defense with seven steals to go along with 13 points. Ziggy Myles-Gilford helped spread the ball around with 11 assists while scoring 12 points. The Hawks will try to avenge their lone loss of the season at Lummi Nation Tuesday in the district title game.

Darrington 54, Grace Academy 47

DARRINGTON — Led by Hunter Anderson’s 18 points, six rebounds and four steals, the Loggers (8-12 overall) stayed alive in the district tournament. Grady Stuvland added 15 points and seven assists for Darrington, which will face Cedar Park Christian (Lynnwood) on Tuesday for a spot in the Tri-district tournament. Grace Academy finished with a 5-12 record.
