Prep boys basketball: Lummi 61, Cedar Park Christian (MLT) 59

MOUNT VERNON — Zach Wallace grabbed the rebound off of a last-ditch 3-point attempt by Terry Eun, but the put-back rolled off the rim at the buzzer as Cedar Park Christian-Mountlake Terrace fell to Lummi 61-59 in the 1B District 1 championship game.

Eun led the Lions with 19 points and shot 5-for-6 from the free-throw line, while Wilson Reidt and Micah Peterson finished in double-digit scoring with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Jordan Deardorff led all the Blackhawks’ scorers with 11 points in the win.

Despite the loss, Cedar Park Christian advances to the Tri-District tournament to host the Shorewood Christian-Grace Academy winner at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
