MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Shorecrest outscored Steilacoom 13-4 in the overtime period en route to a 66-57 victory Friday in the Class 2A state regionals.
With the win, Shorecrest advances to the state quarterfinals next week in Yakima. The Scots will learn Sunday who and when they play.
“Everybody’s good at this point,” Shorecrest coach Brian Fischer said. “We’ll see who we get, but we’ll be ready.”
Malcom Roiser-Butler led Shorecrest with 18 points. Chris Lee added 13.
LaJon Enis-Carter scored 19 points for Steilacoom. The loss ended the season for the Sentinels (16-8).
