SATURDAY

Class 4A

No. 14 Arlington 57, No. 11 Kentwood 56 (loser out)

AUBURN — Leyton Martin recorded a triple-double (15 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists) and hit the game-winning free throw with 1.7 seconds remaining to send the Eagles (19-7) to the Tacoma Dome for the third straight season. Kaid Hunter scored 19 points, including eight in the final two minutes. Billy Kooy added 14 points and 10 rebounds. Maveric Vaden’s two late 3-pointers helped rally Arlington, which trailed by 11 with four minutes remaining in the loser-out contest.

The Eagles will face a familiar opponent on Wednesday when they take on Wesco 4A-rival Glacier Peak 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Tacoma Dome in a Round of 12 contest. The No. 3 Grizzlies won both league matchups this season, beating Arlington 70-62 on Dec. 13 and 57-44 on Jan. 17.

Class 3A

No 5. Edmonds-Woodway 66, No. 4 Bellevue 56

BELLEVUE — The Warriors advanced to the quarterfinals of the Class 3A state tournament.

CHEHALIS — The Hawks fell despite JJ Gray’s 19 points and Davien Parks’ 13. Tulalip Heritage, still alive for a state title, will play in the Round of 12 on Wednesday.

MILL CREEK — The Grizzlies lost, but are still alive in the state tournament.
