EVERETT — Senior forward Brock VandenEkart scored 18 points and Sultan outscored Archbishop Murphy 20-11 in the fourth quarter as the Turks defeated Archbishop Murphy and moved into third place in the Cascade Conference standings.
Sam Cotterill added 16 points and Robbie Rappuhn scored 13, with both connecting on two 3-pointers, to aid Sultan’s effort.
Archbishop Murphy was led by Josh Parafina’s nine points.
