CONCRETE — The Lions topped the Hawks in a Thursday night matchup.

Concrete improved to 5-2, while Tulalip Heritage dropped to 2-5.

Kamiak 31, Jackson 25

EVERETT — Jericho Ishmael scored from 1 yard out late in the fourth quarter, and the Knights picked up their first victory of the season by defeating the Timberwolves.

Jullian Notoa carried 27 times for 179 yards, while Ashton Smiles, T’Andre Waverly and Ezra Davis caught touchdown passes for Kamiak (1-6 overall, 1-1 Wesco 4A).

Tyler Lykken ran 14 times for 127 yards and two touchdowns for Jackson (2-5, 1-2), which went ahead 25-24 in the fourth quarter after beginning the quarter down 24-10.

Wesco 3A North

Arlington 45, Oak Harbor 6

OAK HARBOR — The Eagles remained undefeated with the blowout victory over the Wildcats. Arlington, which had already clinched the Wesco 3A North victory, inproved to 7-0 overall and 6-0 in league. Oak Harbor fell to 2-5, 1-4.

Marysville Getchell 21, Stanwood 20

STANWOOD — Chayse Randle was the hero, blocking the potential game-tying extra point with 37.4 seconds remaining in the game, and the Chargers beat the Spartans in a key battle for playoff positioning.

Andrew Withers scored the second of his two rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter to give Marysville Getchell a 21-14 lead. Stanwood scored in the final minute when Max Mayo scored his second TD of the game, but after several timeouts and penalties occurred while the Spartans went for two and the win, Stanwood settled for the kick. Randle burst through to get a hand on the kick and win it for the Chargers.

Coen Ramsey added a touchdown catch from Bubba Palacol for Marysville Getchell (5-2 overall, 3-2 Wesco 3A North), which remained in the race for third place in the league.

Silas Turpin added a TD run for Stanwood (3-4, 2-3), which dug itself out of a 14-0 hole.

Wesco 3A South

Monroe 35, Edmonds-Woodway 7

MONROE — In the big showdown to determine supremacy in Wesco 3A South, the Bearcats dominated from start to finish against the Warriors to claim the league title.

Blake Springer threw two touchdown passes and ran for a third to lead Monroe (7-0 overall, 5-0 Wesco 3A South), which clinched the division title with a game to spare. Gavin Ranz ran for two touchdowns, while Mason Davis and Ryan Miller caught TDs for the Bearcats.

Steven Warren Jr. threw a late touchdown pass to Cannon Kennard for Edmonds-Woodway (5-2, 4-1).

Shorecrest 47, Lynnwood 7

SHORELINE — Shorecrest set the tone by scoring on the game’s first play from scrimmage on a 55-yard pass from Daniel Stephenson to Charlie Chin as the Scots ran past the Royals.

Stephenson finished with three touchdown passes and also ran for a score for Shorecrest (2-5 overall, 1-5 Wesco 3A South), which led 40-0 at halftime. Gus Hamilton caught two touchdown passes, Jake Lockwood and Tyson Lasconia ran for scores, and Garrett Chamberlin returned an interception for a TD for the Scots.

Lynnwood fell to 0-7, 0-6.

Snohomish 28, Shorewood 14

SNOHOMISH — The Panthers busted open a defensive dogfight with two touchdowns late in the fourth quarter as Snohomish kept its postseason hopes alive with the victory over the Stormrays.

Cole Bedard scored the last of his three rushing touchdowns to snap a 14-14 tie in the fourth quarter, then Zayah Nelson scampered for the insurance TD in the final two minutes for Snohomish (2-5 oveall, 2-3 Wesco 3A South).

Niko Zacharias scored on a pass from Gatsby Palmer and also scored on a 63-yard run to lead Shorewood (2-5, 1-4).

Northwest 2A

Sehome 24, Archbishop Murphy 21

BELLINGHAM — The Wildcats led 21-10 at the half, but the Mariners rallied in the second half. Archbishop Murphy fell to 3-4 overall and 2-3 in the Northwest Conference. Sehome improved to 4-3, 2-3.

Sedro-Woolley 42, Lakewood 21

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — The Cubs pulled away in the second half to beat the Cougars. Lakewood, which tied it 21-21 at halftime after falling behind 21-7, fell to 2-4 overall and 1-3 in the Northwest Conference. Sedro-Woolley improved to 5-2, 4-2.

Emerald Sound Conference

King’s 63, South Whidbey 21

SHORELINE — The Knights raced out to a 35-0 second-quarter lead in the victory over the Falcons. King’s improved to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the Emerald Sound Conference. South Whidbey dropped to 2-5, 0-2.

Cedar Park Christian (Bothell) 23, Sultan 15

KIRKLAND — The Turks (4-3 overall, 0-3 Emerald Sound Conference) dropped the game to the Eagles (4-3, 2-1).

Jonathan Van Pelt rushed 14 times for 124 yards and a touchdown, and Derek Feltner returned a fumble 99 yards for a score for Sultan.

Glacier Peak 21, Marysville Pilchuck 7

MARYSVILLE — Chrisvin Bonshe rushed for all three Grizzlies touchdowns in the victory over the Tomahawks. Glacier Peak improved to 5-2. Marysville Pilchuck (4-3), which opened the scoring in the first quarter, lost its third straight.

Cascade 40, Meadowdale 31

EDMONDS — Cascade scored 28 straight points in the second half, and the Bruins rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to defeat the Mavericks.

Zach Lopez rushed 26 times for 204 yards and scored three touchdowns, including two during Cascade’s second-half surge as the Bruins turned a 23-12 deficit into a 40-23 fourth-quarter lead.

Andi Cosme added a pair of touchdowns — one in the air and one on the ground — Marcel Alexander caught a TD pass and Zach Surowiec threw two touchdowns for Cascade (2-4).

Auggie Wilrich carried 14 times for 100 yards and three touchdowns, Victor Eicher caught five passes for 139 yards and a score, and Cameron Platt threw a TD for Meadowdale (3-4).

Neah Bay 64, Darrington 14

NEAH BAY — The Loggers suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of the Red Devils.

Darrington (6-1) scored twice in the first quarter on a touchdown run by Copper Green and a TD pass from Hunter Anderson to Mikey Soito, but it was all Neah Bay (4-2) after that.

Cedarcrest 13, Everett 0

EVERETT — The Red Wolves posted a shutout in the victory over the Seagulls for their sixth straight victory.

Connor Altmyer was 20-for-29 passing for 228 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Red Wolves (6-1). JT Marsh caught 13 of those passes for 150 yards and a score, while Murphy Vliem also caught a score for Cedarcrest.

Quarterback Michael Noland ran 25 times for 150 yards to lead Everett (2-5).
