Wesco 4A

EVERETT — Tied with nine seconds remaining, Jackson quarterback Colby Bossert found Cole Truant for a 52-yard TD pass and a 28-21 Wesco 4A win over Everett School District-rival Cascade. On the play, Truant made a one-handed catch at the 11 and ran it into the end zone. Bossert threw passes of 20, 11 and 52 yards and also rushed for an 18-yard TD in the game at Everett Memorial Stadium. Jackson (3-1 overall, 1-1 league) won its third game of the season — matching its win total from the full 2023 season. Cascade dropped to 2-2, 1-0.

Arlington 52, Kamiak 7

ARLINGTON — The Eagles trailed 7-0 after Kamiak’s first drive but rallied back to score seven touchdowns in their second-straight Wesco 4A victory.

Arlington’s (4-0 overall, 2-0 league) Leyton Martin completed eight of 18 passes for 155 yards and tallied one rushing and two passing touchdowns. He also completed a pass for a two-point conversion to junior running back Jace Graham. Caleb Reed had eight carries for 158 yards and three rushing touchdowns of one, 37 and 80 yards. Senior wide receiver Kaid Hunter registered only one catch during the game but made the most of it by diving in the end zone to secure Martin’s throw on a 29-yard reception during Arlington’s first drive.

Kamiak’s (3-1, 1-1) Jullian Notoa had 21 carries for 118 yards and Onkar Bhangu two receptions for 24 yards.

Stanwood 25, Snohomish 13

SNOHOMISH—Silas Turpin carried the ball 15 times for 100 yards to lead the Spartans (1-2 overall, 1-2 league). Snohomish (0-4, 0-2) was led by Evan Ruiz’s two TD passes. Stanwood rushed for 262 yards while holding Snohomish to 40.

Shorewood 49, Lynnwood 7

SHORELINE — Frank Burn and Finn Bachler each scored two touchdowns for the Stormrays, who improved to 3-1 overall and 2-1 league. Shorewood Tyler Giles threw for a scored and rushed for another, and Gatsby Palmer had an interception return for a TD. Shorewood rushed for 335 yards against Lynnwood (0-4, 0-1).

Monroe 49, Everett 0

Monroe—Led by Mason Davis’ two carries for 133 yards and two touchdowns, the Bearcats rushed for 312 yards. Davis also caught two passes for 57 yards and a TD.

DARRINGTON—Arthur Moore led the Loggers’ rushing attack with 124 yards and a TD as Darrington (3-1 overall, 3-0 league) rushed for 266 total yards and 4 scores on Saturday. Creed Wright passed for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns for Darrington. Crescent dropped to 2-2 in league and overall.

DEMING — The Mountaineers, ranked 10th in Class 1A, piled up 278 rushing yards to remain perfect at 4-0. Hunter Swanberg led Sultan (0-4) with 10 carries for 39 yards.
